ONELIVINGS Himalayan Salt Lamps | Maintainence

Updated: Nov 24, 2021

ONELIVINGS salt lamp uses Himalayan natural salt stone from Pakistan salt mine. These rock salt came from the Paleozoic ocean 250 million years ago. After being evaporated by the sun, it has undergone countless crustal changes and squeezing, absorbing the aura of heaven and earth, and becoming a natural artwork that contains the ultimate essence of the earth.

Salt stone is a natural mineral, and its unique water absorption properties require us to use and maintain it correctly.

24/7 Uninterrupted usage

Due to the physical properties of salt crystals, they will absorb moisture particles in the air. If the salt lamp is turned off, the moisture will not evaporate through heat. At this time, the surface of the salt lamp will be release salt water, and the corrosive salt water will damage the electrical parts in the lamp set.

ONELIVINGS lamp accessories have passed safety tests of the European Union CE and American UL/FCC safety certifications. They are qualified for long-hour operation.

Tips for use:

LED module: The heating and dimming function in the LED module operates separately, and adjusting the brightness will not affect the heat intensity. It is recommended that light-sensitive users adjust the salt lamp to the darkest brightness but do not turn off the lamp so that the heating function can continue to work and maintain the salt lamp without affecting sleep.

If continuous usage is not possible

If the lights cannot be turned on continuously (such as when traveling), in order to prevent the electrical part and the light wire from being damaged due to contact with salt water, it is recommended to remove the salt stone, and wrap the salt stone in a sealed plastic bag or plastic wrap and store it In a dry place.

Daily cleaning and maintenance

On weekdays, a dry cloth can be used to wipe off the surface dust to maintain good light transmittance. If the stain cannot be removed with a dry cloth, please wipe it lightly with a slightly damp cloth, and then use a dry cloth to absorb the moisture on the surface as soon as possible. Due to the uneven surface of the salt stone, it is recommended to wipe it with a non-hairy cloth.

If the salt stone has released salt water, please clean with a dry cloth, and then reassemble and turn on the lamp. You can also use hair dryer to dry the salt stone first with a slight warm air. It is recommended that you place the salt lamp indoors in a warm place with direct sunlight. Avoid washing the salt lamp, or place it in a humid/outdoor place.
